THE HALAUHALAU COMPANY

Is the home of the Hawaiian canoe, where the elders passed on their knowledge to the younger ones, about the Wa'a (outrigger canoe) and hula, where the younger ones inherited cultural and technical knowledge about the sea and its navigation vehicles, the canoes. We decided to start building canoes in 2006, when we built the first sailing outrigger canoe in Brazil among friends. We noticed the need for improvements in outrigger equipment, a sport that is rapidly developing along the entire Brazilian coast. Halau's objective is to serve the market with first-class equipment for outrigger enthusiasts in Brazil and abroad. We produce all types of outrigger canoes, both rowing and sailing, and accessories. We were innovative in developing tripartite canoes in Brazil, with patented engineering. Mahalo Nui, Hugo.
